Manager of Strategic Finance
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Manager of Strategic Finance to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will serve as a key strategic finance partner, helping shape decisions that support growth, pricing, and investment priorities across the organization. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to evaluate new opportunities, strengthen reporting, and translate financial analysis into clear recommendations. This is a highly visible position with exposure to executive stakeholders and meaningful influence on business planning and execution. The manager will also help build AI-enabled workflows and dashboards that improve the speed and quality of strategic analysis in a remote-first environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic initiatives to support organic and inorganic growth through M&A evaluation and pricing strategy
- Serve as a strategic finance partner, providing analysis on unit economics and ROI for initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-priority initiatives requiring financial analysis
- Develop AI-enabled reporting frameworks and dashboards for strategic initiatives tracking
- Design and deploy AI agents and automated workflows to enhance financial analysis and reporting processes
- Create business cases for new products or market entries based on thorough analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategic finance within SaaS, consulting, banking, PE, or corporate development
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analytics
- Strong executive communication and storytelling capabilities
- Ability to structure ambiguous business problems and provide clear recommendations
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with attention to detail
- Proactive self-starter with a bias for action
- AI-native mindset with experience using AI tools for strategic analysis

Pay
$150,000 – $185,000 annually
