Manager of Standards & Compliance-Food & Beverage

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine and targeted inspections across all F&B areas, including kitchens, concessions, premium spaces/suites, commissary, and warehouse
  • Evaluate operations against defined standards: food quality, preparation & presentation, sanitation, menu accuracy, pricing, and operational readiness and execution
  • Execute inspections using standardized checklists and tools; document all findings with accuracy and objectivity
  • Lead on-the-ground S&C coverage during events; deploy and manage staff across kitchen, concessions, and premium zones
  • Conduct real-time observation of food quality, service accuracy, and cleanliness during peak service periods
  • Identify trends and recurring issues in-the-moment; maintain documentation without disrupting live operations
  • Maintain detailed, factual records of all inspections, audits, and event-day observations
  • Prepare event and trend reports highlighting key issues, repeat findings, and area-specific performance summaries
  • Track follow-up action items and support accountability efforts across operational areas
  • Partner with the Director to develop and refine inspection processes, checklists, scorecards, and audit workflows
  • Translate recurring operational gaps into actionable standards and updated procedures
  • Support rollout of new standards and provide feedback to continuously raise the compliance baseline
  • Communicate findings professionally to Operations, Culinary, and Supply Chain leadership; maintain a neutral, constructive posture
  • Train, schedule, and oversee event-based S&C staff; ensure consistency in inspection execution, documentation, and professionalism

Qualifications & Experience

  • Progressive experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or venue operations
  • Strong working knowledge of kitchen operations, concessions, and/or premium service environments
  • Background in quality control, compliance auditing, or operational oversight strongly preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail, observational acuity, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in documentation; ability to produce clear, factual, and actionable reports
  • Demonstrated ability to remain objective and professional in fast-paced, high-pressure settings
  • Ability to work long, irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as event schedule dictates
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and use stairs as needed
