Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager of the Special Projects Division to oversee all aspects of project execution, sales, and operations for our specialized work in metal panel cladding systems and glass and glazing systems. Build and maintain strong client relationships with general contractors, architects, anddevelopers.Identify new opportunities in target markets and support business development efforts.Collaborate with marketing and executive leadership to position the companycompetitively.Develop and maintain good working relations with our vendor pool, ensuring the bestpossible outcome and service for our projects. Estimating & PreconstructionOversee preparation of accurate and competitive estimates for special projects.Review project specifications, drawings, and bid documents to determine project scopeand cost.Approve estimates, ensuring alignment with company pricing standards and profitabilitytargets.Support preconstruction efforts including value engineering, constructability reviews,and proposal development.Project Management & ExecutionProvide oversight of all project phases from contract award through closeout.Ensure projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.Serve as the point of escalation for project challenges and client concerns.Financial Management & BillingReview and approve project budgets, change orders, and pay applications.Ensure timely and accurate billing in accordance with contract terms.Monitor financial performance of the division, analyzing variances and implementingcorrective actions as needed.Work with accounting and executive leadership to maintain strong cash flow andprofitability.Contract AdministrationReview contracts for scope, schedule, terms, and risk management prior to execution.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, subcontractors, and vendors whennecessary.Mitigate risks by identifying potential exposures and developing proactive solutions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, or related field(preferred). Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in the commercial façade industry, withspecific expertise in metal panel cladding and glass & glazing systems.Proven leadership experience in managing teams and delivering complex projects.Strong knowledge of construction contracts, estimating, project management, andfinancial reporting.Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.Proficiency with industry-standard project management and estimating software.
