About the Role
The Cardiopulmonary Manager is a Registered Respiratory Therapist that is responsible for departmental operational excellence; ensures department delivers quality patient care services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards. Responsible for departmental operation in the director's absence. The manager has expertise in all areas including adult, pediatric, neonatal and diagnostic testing.
Responsibilities
- Assures that productivity meets the standard daily by ensuring the correct number of staff are present for the number of procedures.
- Ensures the department has the necessary equipment for daily operations.
- Creates the monthly schedule for employees, assists in Kronos documentation and Lawson documentation.
- Ensures there are adequate supplies and equipment for care of patients.
- Participates in hiring new employees, creating annual budgets and in coaching and corrective actions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
- Associate Degree
