Responsibilities
- Planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the Respiratory Care staff within the entities.
- Recruitment, retention, evaluation, and development of staff.
- Employee Scheduling.
- Preparing and monitoring financial and budgetary information.
- Planning, directing, and coordinating programs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Masters level preferred.
- Five years of health care experience with at least two of those years in a leadership or education position.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) by the NBRC.
- Current Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst license, Director of point of care, or General supervisor of point of care required within 6 months of hire.
- AHA BLS certification required at time of hire.
- AHA ACLS, PALS, & NRP preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Qualifications
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
