Responsibilities

  • Planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the Respiratory Care staff within the entities.
  • Recruitment, retention, evaluation, and development of staff.
  • Employee Scheduling.
  • Preparing and monitoring financial and budgetary information.
  • Planning, directing, and coordinating programs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Masters level preferred.
  • Five years of health care experience with at least two of those years in a leadership or education position.
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) by the NBRC.
  • Current Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst license, Director of point of care, or General supervisor of point of care required within 6 months of hire.
  • AHA BLS certification required at time of hire.
  • AHA ACLS, PALS, & NRP preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
