About the role
The Manager of Repatriation and Ethical Practices builds collaborative relationships with source communities on behalf of Spurlock Museum. They develop and evaluate processes to share or return important cultural items and archives to descendants, source communities, or culture keepers. They collaborate with all Spurlock Museum staff members to advance this reparative work.

Requirements
- Experience in museum curation or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of ethical practices in repatriation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in anthropology, history, museum studies, or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
