- Minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic control operations, traffic management, construction operations, or a closely related field
- At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience overseeing field staff and operations
- Traffic Control Coordinator (TCC), or equivalent traffic safety certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and local MPT (Maintenance of Traffic) rules, regulations, and guidelines
- Strong understanding of work zone safety standards and safety compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Experience with inventory tracking, invoicing, and accounts receivable monitoring
- Ability to read, interpret, and implement plans, specifications, permits, and operational documents
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online tools (e.g., maps, scheduling, and reporting systems)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and emergency response situations as required
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- College education is highly desirable
- OSHA safety training or certification (e.g., OSHA 10 or OSHA 30)
- Experience coordinating with government agencies for permits and right-of-way access
- Familiarity with project cost control, budgeting, and purchasing strategies
- Experience developing and improving operational procedures and safety protocols
- Strong customer relationship management and client-facing experience
- Marketing and business development experience within construction, engineering, or traffic operations
- Experience with employee training programs and workforce development
- Working knowledge of fleet management and vehicle maintenance programs
- Ability to analyze operational data and prepare management-level reports
- High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
