Manager of Local Site Operations
Job Requirements
Under minimal supervision, provides leadership and strategic direction for End User Computing (EUC) operations at the assigned site. Partners closely with local leadership, system and site technical staff, and clinical leaders to ensure alignment with enterprise IT standards, best practices, and strategic initiatives. Oversees the management, support, and continuous improvement of EUC services, ensuring robust performance, security compliance, and exceptional customer experience. Responsible for the professional growth, development, and performance of direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Provide coordination between local site business needs and the corporate Technical Services Group (TSG).
Principal Responsibilities And Tasks
- Serves as the primary technical advisor to local leadership, ensuring that IT services align effectively with operational goals and enterprise strategies.
- Collaborates with enterprise Technical Services Group (TSG) to standardize processes, implement best practices, and maintain service quality.
- Manages the full lifecycle of end user technologies including deployment, maintenance, security compliance, and inventory management.
- Led and mentors direct reports, setting clear performance expectations, conducting evaluations, handling employee relations, and ensuring ongoing professional development.
- Drives continual improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Represents EUC and local site needs in system-wide technology planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making forums.
- Develops, monitors, and reports key performance indicators (KPIs), addressing gaps proactively to maintain high levels of service delivery.
- Maintains awareness of emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact, and recommending adoption where appropriate.
Work Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent is required.
- Five years progressively responsible professional experience in information systems technical services, is required, including three years of supervisory or project management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of technical infrastructure and service management required to deliver quality services to end users.

- Proficient in analysis and problem-solving, with an ability to work with other teams, and assess the needs of the customer and determining appropriate solutions.
- Pioneered ability to establish and meet work schedules under tight deadlines and willingness to work off-hours as the need arises.
- High level of analytical skills and comprehension of computer technology.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project).
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills to advise and consult with clients, make formal presentations.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in supervising, evaluating, training, discipline and motivating management and technical staff successfully.
- High level of proficiency and demonstrated effectiveness in problem solving and implementing new programs related to increased departmental and organizational operating efficiency.
