Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of practice management software conversions and data migrations
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and practice staff to ensure successful implementations
  • Train front office teams on patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, co-pay collection, billing, financing options, membership plans, and daily closing procedures
  • Develop and deliver engaging training programs, documentation, and ongoing educational resources
  • Provide advanced support and training in Open Dental, including:
    • Income transfers
    • Allocating payments and adjustments
    • Allocating unearned income
    • Patient and insurance refunds
    • Posting insurance bulk and single payments
    • Posting insurance take backs
    • Correcting accounts after month-end lock
    • Insurance processing and account reconciliation
  • Provide advanced support and training in Eaglesoft, including:
    • Allocating payments and adjustments
    • Patient and insurance refunds
    • Posting insurance take backs
    • Account reconciliation
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to practice staff post-implementation by addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing additional training as necessary
  • Maintain project timelines, troubleshoot implementation issues, and provide post-go-live support
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve operational workflows and drive practice performance
  • Supervise integration and training team members as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10 years of billing, check posting and A/R experience
  • Extensive experience with Open Dental, Eaglesoft and Denticon software
  • Strong knowledge of dental front office operations, revenue cycle management, and practice workflows
  • Proven experience managing software implementations, integrations, and training programs
  • Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed
