Manager of Clinical Services (EDU)

About the role

The Center for Disability Services is seeking a Manager of Clinical Services to join our mission-driven team. This role contributes to the provision of innovative and inclusive services to individuals with disabilities and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction and supervision to clinicians assigned to the Children Services division
• Collaborate with program management and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost-effective services

Requirements

• At least 3 years of job-related experience, specifically in: Clinical experience within a school setting working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities
• 1 year of supervisory experience supervising professional level staff (preferred)

Qualifications

• Must have a NYS license and registration in one of the following areas:
• Occupational Therapy: Completion of an approved occupational therapy curriculum in a baccalaureate or masters program, or a certificate program satisfactory to the department which is substantially equivalent to a baccalaureate degree program, in accordance with the commission of education’s regulations
• Physical Therapy: Completion of a 4-year program provided requirements include a bachelor’s, higher degree or equivalent in physical therapy
• NYS teaching Credential for the Speech and Hearing Handicapped – Children Services

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Experience in a clinical setting with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
