Manager of Clinical Services
About the role
We are seeking a Manager of Clinical Services to provide operational leadership across a growing portfolio of outpatient clinics, including Family Medicine, Osteopathic Manual Medicine, Foot & Ankle, Diagnostic Imaging/X-Ray, and future clinical service lines. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations & Strategy, this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative university health enterprise where innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement are valued every day.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of outpatient clinical service lines, ensuring efficient patient flow, scheduling coordination, and consistent delivery of high-quality care.
- Optimize clinic access, provider utilization, and operational capacity through effective scheduling strategies, workflow management, and continuous process improvement.
- Supervise and develop clinical and administrative staff, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and workforce planning.
- Drive workflow optimization and quality improvement initiatives by monitoring key performance indicators, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Foster an exceptional patient experience by promoting patient-centered care, improving access and coordination, and maintaining a welcoming clinical environment.
- Partner with clinical, academic, and administrative stakeholders on strategic planning, service line development, budgeting, resource management, and organizational growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current RN license required.
- BSN required; Master’s preferred.
- 3–5 years of ambulatory or clinical operations experience required.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Experience in outpatient clinic operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, throughput, and clinical workflows.
- EMR experience preferred.
Benefits
The anticipated starting salary for this position is in the mid- to upper $90,000’s. However, the final offered salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experiences of the selected candidate.
