Manager of Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts, providing coaching, performance feedback, and growth pathways.
• Build training programs to evolve BA capabilities in Agile practices, stakeholder engagement, and requirements craftsmanship.
• Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, continuous learning, and collaboration—aligned with the organization’s values.
• Define and refine BA standards, tools, and processes to ensure consistency and high quality across the teams.
• Guide BAs in writing effective user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications, aligning with best practices.
• Reinforce best practices in requirements validation, UAT planning, gap analysis, and solution integrity.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, tooling, workflows, and delivery practices across teams.
• Track and monitor BA team performance metrics, delivery trends, and team capacity to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading BAs or cross-functional project teams.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and influence skills—capable of engaging and aligning diverse teams.
• A strong degree of organization, accountability, and comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, self-starter with the balance of technical knowledge and insurance business acumen is preferred.
• Available to travel to the Wilkes-Barre, PA Corporate Office on a monthly basis.

Pay

Salary Range $77,762.70-$180,882.10 + bonus. In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good-faith estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, credentials, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
