Manager of Benefits

We are looking for a relationship-driven fundraising leader to expand philanthropic support for a mission-based organization in Miami, Florida. This position focuses on building meaningful donor connections, securing annual and major gifts, and advancing revenue growth across individual, corporate, and foundation giving. The role works closely with executive leadership and requires a strong presence in the community, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a strategic portfolio of prospects and donors. Responsibilities:• Build and manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, using in-person meetings and strategic outreach to strengthen engagement and inspire long-term giving.• Lead fundraising efforts designed to increase annual contributions, major gifts, and broader philanthropic investment in support of organizational programs.• Create and execute integrated development initiatives that may include donor campaigns, grant submissions, corporate outreach, and community-based fundraising activities.• Partner with executive leadership on high-priority cultivation and solicitation opportunities, including selected donor visits and targeted relationship-building efforts.• Prepare persuasive proposals, stewardship materials, and donor communications that clearly convey impact and encourage continued support.• Maintain accurate donor records, track fundraising activity, and use development systems such as Raiser’s Edge to support reporting and portfolio management.• Develop and sustain productive relationships with community leaders, foundation representatives, corporate giving contacts, and external partners.• Coordinate multiple development activities simultaneously while monitoring timelines, priorities, and revenue goals in a deadline-driven environment. INTERESTED AND QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD APPLY AND REACH OUT TO STEFANIW FURNISS 786-897-7903 • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in nonprofit management, communications, public relations, business administration, or a related field.• At least 5 years of experience in donor development, fundraising, or donor relations, with a record of achieving revenue targets.• Demonstrated success in major gift cultivation, multichannel fundraising campaigns, and grant writing or grant administration.• Proficiency with donor database and fundraising software, including hands-on experience with Raiser’s Edge.• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse donor audiences effectively.• Ability to work independently, manage sensitive information with discretion, and perform effectively under deadline pressure.• Valid Florida driver’s license and willingness to complete required driving clearance, background screening, and drug testing.
