Manager of Audiology Services
Job Summary
The Manager of Audiology Services provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for UC Davis Health's Center of Excellence in hearing and balance care. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a highly specialized Audiology program within one of California's premier academic health systems while partnering closely with Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) and the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery to advance innovative, multidisciplinary care.
Department Overview
The Department of Audiology at UC Davis Health is a Center of Excellence dedicated to advancing hearing and balance care through clinical innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and exceptional patient outcomes. As an integral part of the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) program, the department partners closely with the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan, supporting patients from diagnosis through medical, surgical, and rehabilitative treatment.

Minimum Qualifications
Current California State Dispensing Audiologist License
Doctor of Audiology from an accredited program
Supervisory, management, or leadership experience within an audiology practice
Clinical experience providing audiologic care to both pediatric and adult patient populations
Knowledge of hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and digital hearing aid programming software
Knowledge of cochlear and bone conduction implant candidacy, expected outcomes, and programming software
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise staff, solve complex problems, analyze data, identify trends, and support long-range operational goals
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Commitment to maintaining clinical competency through continuing professional education
Ability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships with the Department of Otolaryngology (ENT)
Preferred Qualifications
Current California Children's Services (CCS) paneling
Position Information
Salary or Pay Range: $9,283.33 - $19,150.00
Salary Frequency: Monthly
