Manager of Ancillary Services
About the Role

Cottage Grove Community Hospital is a critical access hospital with 14 licensed beds, dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In this key leadership role, the Manager of Ancillary Services will provide oversight for Rehab Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, House Coordinators, and a variety of outpatient services, including Infusion, Wound Care, and Foot Care. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead diverse clinical teams, drive operational excellence, and help shape the future of healthcare services in a close-knit community setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead a broad portfolio of services including Rehabilitation Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Outpatient Services, Imaging, and Laboratory Services.
- Drive high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Foster a culture of caregiver engagement, collaboration, professional growth, and operational excellence.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and quality performance improvement across all areas of responsibility.
- Partner with leaders and providers to enhance service delivery, patient experience, and community health outcomes.
- Champion PeaceHealth's mission, values, and leadership principles while building strong relationships across the organization.
- Work closely with leadership to maximize operational efficiencies and meet capital and operating budget goals.
- Participate in operational planning and implementation of organizational strategic plans.
- Manage operational units including leadership for clinical excellence, personnel management, fiscal accountability, operational effectiveness, and stakeholder relations.
- Promote change, facilitate redesign, and implement systems to maintain compliance with regulatory standards, laws, and accreditation.
- Resolve escalated, complex issues and questions.
- Lead or participate in projects, task forces, and committees to drive innovation, quality, value, and service improvement.
- Develop and implement cost-saving measures, authorize and monitor budget expenditures, and manage budget planning.
- Examine, analyze, and implement innovative solutions to increase productivity and quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field (required).
- Minimum of 5 years related experience (required).
- Minimum of 2 years management experience (required).
- Strong financial acumen for budgets and productivity.
- Experience in leadership, team process, troubleshooting, and project follow-through (preferred).

Working Conditions
- Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects (sedentary work).
- Predominantly operates in an office environment; some time spent on site in a medical/hospital setting.
- Requires close visual acuity for activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
Pay
Competitive salary range of $61.56 – $92.34.
