About the Role
A well-established nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced Manager of Services to provide leadership and oversight of residential and independent living programs. This individual will ensure high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, participant satisfaction, staff development, and operational excellence across multiple community-based programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of independent living and residential support services.
- Ensure all programs operate in compliance with state regulations, agency policies, and individual service plans.
- Oversee participant admissions, transitions, and ongoing service delivery.
- Manage and develop a team of managers and direct support professionals.
- Ensure staffing levels appropriately support participant needs and program requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with families, guardians, support coordinators, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Human Resources, Facilities, Transportation, and Information Technology, to support program operations.
- Monitor program performance, documentation, reporting, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and corrective action planning as needed.
- Oversee budget-related activities, financial transactions, and operational reporting.
- Provide leadership during emergency and crisis situations, including participation in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Special Education, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field with at least five years of leadership experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities; or a Bachelor's degree with seven or more years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of developmental disability services and applicable state regulations.
- Previous experience managing residential, independent living, or community-based programs.
- Experience supervising and developing staff in a multi-site environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
