Manager of Accounts Payable

About the role

Location: Daytona Beach, FL (Hybrid)

• Lead a critical Accounts Payable operation with responsibility for process performance and team development
• Drive automation, workflow enhancements, and process improvement initiatives across the AP function
• Influence internal controls, compliance practices, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance leadership on reporting, audits, and month-end activities

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, payment execution, and expense management
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing AP team focused on accuracy and timely execution
• Strengthen internal controls and implement process improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve escalated issues, and maintain vendor master data integrity
• Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to support month-end close, audits, and reporting requirements

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within Accounts Payable, preferably in a high-volume or multi-entity environment
• Strong knowledge of AP controls, compliance requirements, and best practices
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Workday, or similar platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
