Manager, OCI Data Center Training Delivery
About the role
A proven track record of leading high-performing teams is required for this role. The ideal candidate will provide coaching, leadership, and guidance to the OCI CORE Training Delivery team, which is critical to implementing and supporting the vision and mission of the CORE Learning & Development organization. The role involves leading a team of Training Delivery Program Managers located across multiple sites in the U.S. and managing a geographically dispersed team.
The successful candidate will oversee performance management by establishing clear, measurable goals for both individual team members and the broader team, ensuring these objectives align with OCI's strategy. They will implement processes to monitor progress, assess performance, and maintain accountability across the team. The role also involves partnering with stakeholders across the Data Center Learning & Development organization, the broader OCI business, and Human Resources to develop a scalable training delivery and train-the-trainer model.
Responsibilities
- Lead a new team: Support hiring, onboarding, and the build-out of new Data Center Training Delivery teams across multiple sites.
- Strategy: Help define the vision, strategy, and goals for the organization, including both individual and team objectives.
- Training Delivery: Create, launch, and maintain a scalable training delivery model for OCI data centers.
- Support an accredited trainer and facilitator network, and coordinate with Recruiting to align onboarding schedules with hiring cohorts and start dates.
- Expansion: Leverage lessons learned and stakeholder feedback to expand the onboarding model to existing and new OCI data center sites globally.
- Program Management: Partner with CORE Program Managers to implement and deliver early career, onboarding, and upskilling programs across the data center organization.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders ranging from front-line managers to senior executives across OCI, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition.
- Leadership: Define, implement, and monitor success metrics and KPIs for a newly established team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in Learning & Development or a related field are required. The candidate should have proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results.
Demonstrated ownership and a proven track record of driving results, excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and experience interacting effectively with both business and engineering stakeholders at all levels are also required.
Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of people management experience, experience with cloud infrastructure services, experience delivering onboarding or training programs in a data center environment, experience with cloud software and platform services, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, and strong analytical and technical aptitude.

Pay
The hiring range for this role is from $102,300 - $209,500 per year, and may be eligible for bonus and equity.
