Responsibilities
- Deliver in person and e-learning training content for data center operations, covering mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
- Ensure clear and engaging presentation to technicians, engineers, and operational staff.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to facilitate scalable, accessible, and interactive training sessions.
- Monitor and assess learner progress during training sessions, using post-training assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Collaborate with training development teams and internal stakeholders to ensure training content aligns with operational needs, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Adapt training delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles, incorporating hands-on demonstrations, virtual simulations, and interactive modules.
- Support the implementation of training programs for data center commissioning, early access operations, and full turnover.
- Regularly review and provide feedback on training content to ensure it remains current with industry standards, data center technologies, and emerging trends.
- Address training delivery challenges by adapting sessions in real-time, ensuring clarity and effectiveness for all participants.
- Escalate issues related to training delivery, learner engagement, or resource constraints to the Training Director or senior leadership for resolution.
- Contribute to process improvements in training delivery, leveraging LMS analytics to enhance learner outcomes and operational performance.
- Use LMS data to generate reports on training engagement, completion rates, and contributions to technician competency.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in training delivery, facilitation, or learning and development, with at least 2 years in data center operations, facilities management, or critical infrastructure environments.
- Proven expertise in delivering technical training content for mechanical, electrical, or controls systems in high-stakes environments.
- Strong proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training delivery, learner tracking, and performance reporting.
- Deep understanding of learner engagement techniques, feedback mechanisms, and cross-functional collaboration in data center operations.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and operational protocols to deliver effective and relevant training sessions.
- Willingness to travel to data center sites for training delivery, program support, or stakeholder engagements.
