Manager, Nursing

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for nursing teams across all practice sites.
• Ensure adherence to NYS RN scope of practice, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement nursing protocols, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor clinical performance metrics and patient care outcomes.
• Collaborate with providers, practice managers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Manage staffing schedules, coverage plans, and resource allocation for all practices.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing education and competency assessments.
• Serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for complex patient care issues.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment across all sites.

Required Skills/Abilities

• BSN Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
• Strong knowledge of outpatient workflows and multi-site operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (minimum 2 years required)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with quality improvement and compliance initiatives preferred
