About the Role

As our Nursing Manager, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence. Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals. You'll embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions, skillfully navigating challenges to ensure individual performance and overall unit success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to progressively guide and lead groups of people to meet goals and exceed customer requirements while role-modeling leadership behavior and collaborative team relationships.
• Create team-based quality improvement plans, including defining team goals, utilizing performance measures, and applying appropriate analysis tools to improve performance through feedback, coaching, and teaching.
• Lead the patient care unit in care delivery based on research findings and evidence-based practice.
• Monitor volume trends using an indicator system that incorporates financial and customer satisfaction measures; plan, organize, and control department resources while communicating fiscal expectations to staff.
• Coordinate daily staff allocation to ensure delivery of appropriate service by competent staff based on experience, education, and skill; foster an environment of self-development and continued learning.
• Address operational issues and activities that encompass broader division operations, including communication with other members of the health system, physicians, staff, and external vendors.
• Maintain effective channels for productive and interactive communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare organization (required).
• Registered Nurse license in Arkansas (required).
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification (required).
• Master of Nursing (preferred).
• 3-5 years of clinical management experience (preferred).
• Behavioral health experience (strongly preferred).
