Manager – Network & Telecommunications - Direct hire, FTE up to $150k (46217)
About the role
LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Manager of Network & Telecommunications for a Contract to Hire opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.
Responsibilities
- Own the availability and performance of enterprise networking leveraging Fortinet and VeloCloud (SD-WAN)
- Ensure reliable connectivity for clinical systems, imaging, telehealth, and call center operations
- Lead incident response for network and telecom outages including root cause analysis and remediation
- Maintain network architecture standards, configuration documentation, and operational runbooks
- Manage Cisco-based enterprise telephony and VoIP platforms
- Ensure compliant emergency calling and E911 services across all locations
- Oversee call quality monitoring, capacity planning, and carrier/vendor SLAs
- Partner with Cybersecurity to enforce network security controls
- Support HIPAA, audit requirements, and business continuity planning
- Lead and develop network and telecom engineers and administrators
- Manage ISP, carrier, hardware, and managed service provider relationships
- Support budgeting, forecasting, contract negotiations, and cost optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience with enterprise network and telecom
- Minimum of 3 years experience in technical leadership or people management
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet, VeloCloud, and Cisco voice technologies
- Experience supporting healthcare or other regulated environments preferred
- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
