Telecommunications Manager

For a leader in the Legal & Accounting space, we are seeking a Telecommunications Manager to support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. This role partners with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation, offering the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the firm's Avaya telephony platform while evaluating emerging technologies
• Develop and execute transition plans from legacy systems to modern platforms
• Create a multi-year telecommunications roadmap aligned with firm objectives
• Oversee provisioning, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems
• Coordinate service installations with carriers to meet deadlines
• Manage all telecom vendor relationships and contracts
• Direct and develop the telecommunications team to meet performance commitments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 8+ years managing enterprise telephony systems, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
• Expert-level knowledge of the Avaya telephony platform required
• Extensive experience with additional telephony platforms, including cloud and UCaaS solutions
• Proven track record of successful technology adoption and change management
• Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, and telecommunications budgeting
• Avaya certifications or Microsoft Teams Voice certifications preferred

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
