About the Role

We seek a Manager, Operations and Communications to join an experienced, fast-paced, and collaborative team focused on developing lipid nanoparticle-delivered mRNA medicine. This role works directly with the Chief of Staff to coordinate departmental and site operations and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional coordination across operational forecasting, procurement, and day-to-day operational logistics to enable efficient departmental execution.
  • Serve as a key liaison to internal partners to maintain site operations and business continuity.
  • Manage communications, department SharePoint, and culture initiatives to promote alignment, engagement, and consistent execution across the department.
  • Partner on budgeting, resource planning, capital equipment planning, and operational forecasting to support effective decision-making and business operations management.
  • Lead the execution and coordination of purchase orders, internal workflows, documentation, and shipping logistics with key stakeholders to support timely procurement, accurate material handling, and efficient operations.
  • Support interdepartmental (cross-site) and site-specific culture initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and align with enterprise priorities and organizational values.
  • Coordinate internal communications, leadership updates, and organizational announcements by managing communication calendars and distribution plans.
  • Ensure all communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational standards, brand guidelines, and key messaging priorities.
  • Manage front-office operations, including coordinating visitors, restocking breakrooms, and managing conference room calendars.
  • Plan and coordinate site-based company events and executive visits of medium to large scale.
  • Manage department SharePoint site(s) to ensure information is organized, accurate, accessible, and aligned with team operating needs.
  • Drive adoption of new tools, processes, and change initiatives by coordinating implementation efforts and supporting stakeholder alignment across functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or discipline and/or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with the RNA/LNP modality and associated drug development (process, analytical, preclinical development) is preferred.
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to implement effective site operational functions and evaluate/recommend corrective actions/processes within multi-disciplined research environments.
  • Excellent leadership, self-management, and organizational skills; ability to manage workload, set personal and team priorities, and adjust as needed.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into innovative, implementable plans.
  • Effective communication and partnership skills with key stakeholders.

The compensation range for this role is based on the job grade and may vary depending on geographic location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
