Manager - Mortgage Origination

Responsibilities

• Determine solutions for complex issues presented by Mortgage Loan Officers.
• Coordinate, develop, and manage all origination activities, processes, policies, and procedures to support department objectives.
• Manage daily production and quality expectations to achieve monthly business goals and quality service levels.
• Participate in the deployment of new lending products and processes.
• Lead change initiatives within the origination function.
• Coach and motivate origination staff to achieve set production goals.
• Proactively develop and maintain relationships with other TDECU lines of business and external referral sources such as Realtors and Builders.
• Work with the Mortgage Fulfillment Team to ensure service level times are met on origination, processing, and closing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) management experience.
• Five years of experience in mortgage lending, real estate, retail sales, or a related field.
