Manager, Mobile Site
About the role
The Mobile Site Manager will be responsible for managing service sites across a specific region, ensuring smooth operations, high levels of customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety standards. This role involves significant travel and requires a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Safety and Compliance: Establish and oversee safety practices and protocols, ensuring compliance with Vestas standards and regulations.
- Operational Effectiveness: Cultivate a safety-focused culture, communicate change management effectively, and build partnerships internally and externally.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of Service Technicians, ensuring compliance with safety training and certifications.
- Customer Relations: Interface with customers, address inquiries, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues.
- Financial Management: Manage site budgets, cost allocations, and operational revenues, inputting accurate data into systems like Salesforce and SAP.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop and deliver continuous improvement plans, implementing LEAN practices at the site.
- Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to Service Technicians, ensuring adherence to work instructions and proposing improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license required; ability to obtain a passport.
- Experience in P&L management.
- Experience managing safety programs.
- Advanced computer operation and internet-based program navigation skills.

Ability to climb stairs & vertical ladders to heights of 60 to 100 meters and at times supervise work in confined space environments. Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to, but not more than 50 lbs. in weight. Ability to observe training and obtain certification in required safety programs that include LOTO, Electrical, Fall Arrest & High Angle Emergency Decent, and Confined Space. Ability to complete all training courses, including controlled decent practical exercises. Due to safety parameters of fall protection equipment, the total weight of required PPE and gear shall weigh 300 lbs or less while being worn. Required PPE and gear can weigh up to 40 lbs.
