Oaks of Louisiana is seeking an energetic Facilities Manager to join a dynamic team caring for a profoundly beautiful and expanding retirement community.

Responsibilities

• Supervise an apartment-type facility maintenance team of 11 technicians.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, equipment diagnostic testing and repair.
• Inspect and maintain assigned areas.
• Effectively troubleshoot and communicate issues.
• Adjust and repair failures.
• Achieve maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness while adhering to Federal, State, and local guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a combination of one or more areas of electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems.
• A minimum of six (6) years' leadership experience.
• Advanced computer skills.

Schedule

The position is full-time, but shift hours may vary.
