Manager, Merch - Mens Bottoms/Denim
About the role
Role is based in San Francisco California, with 3 days per week in office requirement. 5-10 years of retail merchandising experience in the Men’s apparel category, preferably with luxury expertise. E-commerce experience and/or DTC experience preferred. Proven track record of progressing within an organization and demonstrating continuous growth in roles and responsibilities. Product obsessed with experience in leveraging data tools and external sources. Critical eye to anticipate customer needs (both the “science” and “art” of retail merchandising). Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, improving processes and brand enhancement. Continuous learner and highly curious; always open to considering new perspectives; proactive when changing course and facing added challenges. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Motivated by working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, where flexibility to stretch into or out of functional comfort zones is crucial for team success. Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Scale the business by adding to, refining and improving the Men’s Bottoms assortment
- Identify and execute the right expansion opportunities across Men’s Bottoms (including fit expansion and scaling Denim) to set the businesses up for long term growth
- Work closely with production development, sourcing and technical design to develop and improve Men’s Bottoms products
- Partner with planning, site merchandising and marketing to grow these businesses
- Obsess about every aspect of our products (quality, price, etc.) to deliver for the customer
- Help drive the business forward to meet sales targets, customer ratings/return rates and improved margins

Benefits
All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles. Pay Range: $120,000 USD - $150,000 USD
