Manager, Media Strategy & Planning

Location: Universal City, CA Schedule: Hybrid — 4 days onsite, Fridays remote Term: 6+ month contract REQUIRED. Prior Media Experience. We're looking for a Media Strategy & Planning Manager to lead media planning across all channels for a 6+ month contract, working closely with the Senior Director of Media. What You'll Do Develop and execute media strategies/plans for supported shows, in partnership with the Senior Director, MediaPrepare media briefs, plan recommendations, campaign recaps, and presentations for leadership and agency partnersUse research, analytics, and audience insights to guide media recommendations and investment decisionsPartner with cross-functional teams on marketing plans, representing the media team and communicating strategy/updatesOversee end-to-end campaign execution — assets developed, approved, delivered, and launched on timeHelp manage financial reporting tied to the media budgetSupport the broader media team with ad-hoc projects as needed What You Need 5+ years of media planning/buying experience across all channelsStrong foundation in marketing, advertising, and media planningExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsProven ability to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, and deadlines independentlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAnalytical and strategic thinker who can turn data into clear, actionable recommendationsUnderstanding of TV and digital viewing measurementKnowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem (ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, networks, exchanges, creative optimizers, data providers)Previous people management/coaching experience Nice to Have Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, marketing, communications/advertising, or media studiesMedia agency experienceEntertainment marketing or media experienceKnowledge of the Broadcast/Streaming TV industryProactive, collaborative, solutions-oriented mindsetStrong Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills; familiarity with AI tools like Microsoft Copilot Posted By: Melissa Klein
