Manager, Mechanical Engineer

About the role

Join the Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team at Secretariat, where you will tackle complex engineering challenges. Work on failure analysis investigations, laboratory tests, field inspections, and assist with client communications and expert report preparation.

Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• OR MS degree and 5+ years of prior experience in engineering consulting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Specialized knowledge of materials characterization techniques like SEM, EDS, XPS, Auger, SIMS, FTIR, X-ray
• Strong expert report writing skills to complement analytics
• Able to quickly assimilate relevant information and develop creative solutions
• The ability to manage and prioritize time effectively
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills
• The desire to lead and assist in growing a practice within a rapidly growing firm
• The ability to travel as needed
