About the role
The role of Material Program Manager (MPM) within the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) team at Raytheon involves leading and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, affordable systems to customers. Key responsibilities include managing complex supply chain strategies, mitigating risks, overseeing subcontractor performance, and ensuring alignment with program goals and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute material program plans and subcontract management plans as applicable.
- Create and implement risk and opportunity management plans to address program responsibilities and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct quarterly financial management reviews using Earned Value Management (EVM) through the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to develop and maintain schedules based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Lead financial planning efforts, including budgeting, financial management, and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively resolve program and functional issues.
- Support gate reviews, EAC reviews, program reviews, and risk and opportunity management reviews.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and execution.
- Ensure compliance with all program requirements, including cost, schedule, and quality metrics.
Requirements
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, or Program/Project Management.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems (special program access or equivalent manufacturing programs).
- Must obtain MPM certification level 4 within 1 year of hire.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to successfully manage budgets and resolve complex issues to meet program objectives and deadlines.
- Experience in a Matrix organizational structure.
- Knowledge of government acquisition regulations (e.g., FAR/DFARS) and supplier negotiations.
- Active and transferable Secret Clearance U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access after start.
Pay
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
