This role leads a team of marketers responsible for identifying and understanding Toyota Automated Logistics’ target audiences in various industry verticals and regions across the Americas. The Manager, Marketing Strategy partners with vertical solution directors, business development, corporate strategy, and product management to build go-to-market strategies that support revenue growth and long-term business objectives. This position oversees sales enablement and solution marketing to ensure alignment between sales groups and external messaging, acting as a strategic connector, researcher, and strategist.

The position is based in Carmel, IN (soon to be Noblesville, IN) with candidates required to be local to the Indianapolis, IN area. The role allows for 2 days of remote work per week, with 3 days in the headquarters location.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Go-To-Market Strategy
    • Develop and lead comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with corporate objectives, sales priorities, and growth initiatives across targeted markets and industries.
    • Partner with sales and marketing leaders to translate business goals into actionable go-to-market plans and demand generation campaigns.
    • Develop competitor reporting strategies to ensure differentiated, customer-focused global positioning.
  • Sales Enablement Oversight
    • Oversee the strategic direction of sales enablement efforts, equipping sales teams with tools, messaging, and training to support the full sales cycle.
    • Ensure alignment between sales enablement assets, brand standards, and product positioning.
    • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify gaps, opportunities, and evolving needs in the field.
  • Product Marketing Leadership
    • Provide strategic oversight for product marketing initiatives, including solution positioning, messaging, and launch strategies in conjunction with the product marketing lead and product management group.
    • Ensure consistent, differentiated value propositions across products, solutions, and vertical markets.
    • Partner with product, engineering, and R&D stakeholders to translate technical capabilities into compelling market-facing narratives.
  • Vertical Market Strategy
    • Work with vertical solution directors to develop vertical market strategies, including audience segmentation, priority solutions, and tailored messaging.
    • Define market-specific value propositions and support targeted campaigns aligned to industry needs and growth potential.
    • Identify emerging vertical opportunities and shifts in customer demand to support long-term planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
    • Serve as a strategic partner to sales, business development, corporate strategy, and product management.
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction to marketing team members, fostering strong performance and a growth mindset.
    • Establish metrics and reporting to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing strategy, product marketing, sales enablement, or related roles.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Proven experience developing go-to-market strategies and translating insights into execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in competitor analysis, customer research, and market segmentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic storytelling skills.
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA long-term without sponsorship.
  • 10% travel required.

Schedule
