About the role

We are hiring a Supervisor, Marketing Science & Analytics to join Redbox, Crossmedia’s marketing science and data science team. You will serve as a day-to-day analytical lead across client engagements, new business opportunities, and internal initiatives, partnering closely with Analysts, Engineers, Directors, and cross-functional agency teams. This role combines hands-on statistical and data science expertise with client leadership, team management, and the ability to translate complex business questions into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing science and analytics workstreams across current clients, new business, and internal initiatives, managing projects from data and measurement through analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Partner directly with clients and account teams to define measurement objectives, translate business questions into testable hypotheses, and develop rigorous analytical approaches.
  • Apply statistical and data science methods including media mix modeling (MMM), regression, causal inference, experimentation, geo-lift/DMA holdout testing, Bayesian methods, segmentation, forecasting, and optimization.
  • Build, interpret, and communicate statistical models and translate complex analyses into compelling, actionable stories for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Use Python and SQL to analyze data and build reproducible, well-documented analytical workflows; experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery is preferred.
  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and other data products using tools such as Tableau, Python visualization libraries, or Datorama.
  • Manage analytical delivery and execution with external measurement and data partners.
  • Serve as a trusted statistical and marketing science expert in client meetings, confidently explaining methodology, findings, limitations, and recommendations.
  • Ensure analytical work is statistically rigorous, reproducible, and meets XM’s standards for quality.
  • Lead and mentor Analysts and Data Scientists, providing guidance on prioritization, analytical approaches, coding practices, and professional development.
  • Keep Directors and account teams informed of project progress, risks, and key decisions, escalating issues and seeking senior support when appropriate.
  • Contribute to the development of Redbox’s marketing science and data science capabilities through training, thought leadership, technical content, and new methodologies.
  • Participate in broader team and agency initiatives, including talent development, recruiting, vendor management, and department planning.
  • Stay current on emerging statistical, data science, and marketing measurement approaches and adapt as Redbox’s tools and capabilities evolve.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing science, statistics, econometrics, data science, or another quantitative discipline; media or advertising experience is a plus.
  • Strong foundation in statistics and hands-on experience applying analytical methods to real-world business problems.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience using tools such as pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn, PyMC, Meridian, or similar.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large or complex datasets; cloud data warehouse experience preferred.
  • Experience with marketing measurement, including MMM, incrementality, experimentation, causal inference, or related methodologies.
  • Ability to independently manage analytical workstreams and client relationships while knowing when to bring in senior leadership.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, or developing junior team members.
  • Curiosity, sound analytical judgment, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, evolving environment and move comfortably between client work, new business, and internal initiatives.
