About the role

The Manager – Marketing Risk Management Centralized S24 supports the Marketing enterprise, ensuring that all communications with the public comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Marketing enterprise in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards for all communications with the public.
• Works with the Centralized S24 Team, Marketing partners, Product, Compliance, Legal, and other business unit subject matter experts to maintain trust with clients and safeguard Schwab’s reputation.
• Collaborates with various groups with potentially disparate objectives to balance rules and regulations around reviews against business growth and communication objectives.
• Maintains strong relationships inside and outside the organization, demonstrating exceptional client focus and emotional intelligence/maturity.
• Communicates risks and testing results clearly to leadership and key stakeholders, making sound, timely, and risk-based decisions.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent professional licensing (Series 7/24)
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience supporting communication or advertising reviews, risk management, and S24 responsibilities
• Understanding of regulatory submission and review processes
• Ability to make sound, timely, and risk-based decisions
• Experience working collaboratively with various groups with potentially disparate objectives
• Strong knowledge and understanding of disclosures, regulatory expectations, interpreting regulatory guidance, and assessing risk
