Responsibilities

  • Shape Digital Product Strategy
  • Partner with senior leadership to help define digital product strategy, translating business objectives, customer insights, and market opportunities into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Own the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for assigned digital products and digital marketing platforms.
  • Identify customer problems and emerging opportunities through analytics, research, Voice of Customer, competitive intelligence, experimentation, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Develop business cases and investment recommendations that balance customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, cost, and organizational priorities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies—including AI, personalization, SEO/GEO, automation, and digital experience capabilities—and recommend opportunities to improve customer engagement and business performance.
  • Lead Digital Product Delivery
  • Drive digital products from concept through launch and continuous optimization, including discovery, requirements, backlog prioritization, delivery, testing, release, adoption, and ongoing enhancement.
  • Partner closely with technology teams, development partners, UX/UI designers, analytics, marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
  • Translate business needs into well-defined product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Evaluate platforms, integrations, and technical approaches, recommending solutions that balance speed, scalability, security, quality, and cost.
  • Navigate enterprise governance, privacy, security, legal, accessibility, and technology review processes to successfully deliver new digital capabilities.
  • Champion modern Agile product delivery practices, including Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and continuous delivery.
  • Optimize Digital Customer Experiences
  • Champion intuitive, accessible, and best-in-class customer experiences across web, mobile, and emerging digital touchpoints.
  • Establish success metrics and leverage analytics, customer feedback, experimentation, and AI-enabled insights to continuously improve product performance.
  • Partner with UX/UI teams throughout the design process, reviewing customer journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systems using Figma and related collaboration tools.
  • Manage Digital Investments & Partners
  • Manage assigned product budgets, forecasts, and project spend while maximizing customer value and return on investment.
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), evaluate vendors, and manage agency and technology partners to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Hold partners accountable for delivery, service levels, timelines, budgets, quality, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to simplify delivery, improve operational efficiency, and optimize digital technology investments.
  • Lead Through Influence
  • Build trusted partnerships across Marketing, Brand, Technology, UX, Analytics, Legal, Procurement, and executive leadership.
  • Influence decisions across cross-functional teams, building alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap progress, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations through compelling executive presentations and storytelling.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, customer-centric thinking, innovation, experimentation, and collaboration consistent with Toyota's values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience spanning digital product management, digital marketing, digital experience or related disciplines.
  • 4+ years of experience managing teams, agencies, business partners, Statements of Work, budgets, and technology partners.
  • Demonstrated success helping define product strategy and leading digital products from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Experience developing product roadmaps, business cases, and investment recommendations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technology organizations, development partners, UX/UI, analytics, marketing, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong technical and digital acumen with enterprise web platforms, CMS solutions, APIs, analytics, marketing technology, experimentation platforms, personalization, and digital ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey management, digital marketing, UX principles, conversion optimization, and digital product lifecycle management.
  • Experience working within modern Agile product delivery environments using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and successfully navigate complex enterprise organizations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data, experimentation, and customer insights to drive product decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex digital initiatives for both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience leading digital products within a large enterprise or consumer-facing brand.
  • Strong alignment with Toyota's culture, respect for people, humility, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Experience with modern product management and collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, AEM, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Google Analytics or similar enterprise digital platforms.
  • Experience with AI-enabled products, personalization strategies, customer data platforms (CDPs), SEO/GEO, experimentation frameworks, and digital accessibility (WCAG).
  • Experience within automotive, retail, e-commerce, financial services, or other consumer-focused digital ecosystems.
  • MBA or advanced degree.
