About the role
Roadrunner is a Category of One leader in logistics, redefining the LTL industry by empowering its elite team with significant technology advancements. Reporting to the VP of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Manager is a high-impact, hands-on role responsible for building and executing the marketing programs that drive brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and contribute directly to revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Drive omnichannel marketing execution
- Own and execute a fully integrated marketing plan aligned to pipeline growth, brand awareness, and commercial expansion
- Develop targeted campaigns across digital, email, paid media, and social channels to reach customers, drivers, and partners
- Manage campaign performance end-to-end, optimizing toward MQLs, cost-per-lead, and revenue contribution
- Ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all channels
- Build marketing systems and automation
- Design and manage segmented email programs and nurture workflows using HubSpot (or equivalent)
- Maintain CRM integration to ensure clean data flow between marketing and sales systems
- Continuously refine automation strategies to improve engagement, conversion, and pipeline velocity
- Implement scalable processes that reduce manual effort and increase campaign throughput
- Deliver data-driven performance insights
- Produce executive-level reporting on campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI
- Translate marketing data into actionable insights that inform strategy and budget allocation
- Monitor funnel performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates
- Establish clear KPIs and dashboards that align marketing activity to business outcomes
- Create compelling, conversion-oriented content including case studies, nurture sequences, sales collateral, and social content
- Lead Roadrunner’s LinkedIn strategy to grow engagement, followers, and market credibility
- Support website updates, landing page optimization, and SEO strategy to improve digital performance
- Oversee branded merchandise and swag initiatives to strengthen internal and external brand awareness
- Enable sales and influence market positioning
- Partner closely with sales to develop targeted tools, messaging, and outbound sequences that accelerate deal cycles
- Monitor competitor activity and provide strategic insights to refine positioning and messaging
- Manage agency and vendor relationships to maximize output within budget constraints
- Build relationships with industry media and trade organizations to expand earned media presence
- Collaborate with talent acquisition to design campaigns that attract qualified CDL drivers
- Develop targeted messaging and campaigns that resonate with driver audiences
- Measure and optimize recruitment marketing performance to support hiring goals
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B marketing experience with demonstrated success driving pipeline and revenue
- Strong hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)
- Proven ability to manage paid search and paid social campaigns with a focus on ROI and cost efficiency
- Exceptional content creation and copywriting skills across multiple formats and audiences
- High level of comfort using AI tools to create, refine, and scale content production
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- PREFERRED: Experience in transportation, logistics, freight, or supply chain industries

- Data-driven, full-stack B2B marketer
- Experience spanning content marketing, social media, ABM, marketing automation, internal communication, and live event execution
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain is a strong plus
