About the Role
The Manager Manufacturing Shift provides training, coaching, and guidance to front-line leaders and hourly associates on one or multiple shifts. This role ensures the proper execution of daily work activities that drive quality, efficiency, safety, service, and cost performance in a manufacturing plant. Responsibilities focus on the current week, coordinating performance tools and methodologies to enhance rapid, measurable improvements in production, quality, and maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, and motivate a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, including quality, customer satisfaction, safety practices, and deadlines.
- Engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training.
- Implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership.
- Check production, quality, and maintenance output according to specifications; submit reports on performance and progress while identifying efficiency issues and suggesting improvements.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings in an environment of trust and engagement; ensure safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
- Plan and manage resources; coordinate immediate resolutions to work process interruptions to meet period results.
- Train new employees on safe machinery use, procedures, and validate conformity to standard work practices.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
- Maintain staffing schedules and organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food or beverage.
- Experience supervising exempt and non-exempt associates.
- Familiarity with HACCP, ISO Standards, Six Sigma, and Lean Principles.
- Detail-oriented with strong leadership capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of work experience.
- Food or beverage industry experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SAP, CONA, SharePoint, PHRED, Kronos, and SharePoint.

Pay
$86,000.00 - $100,000.00 depending on experience.
