Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team responsible for production planning and order execution across a ~$100M+ consumables portfolio within a growing chemistry manufacturing site.
  • Oversight of order management and material handling operations, ensuring seamless execution from planning through fulfillment.
  • Leverage systems, advanced Excel, and data visualization to improve supply-demand visibility, protect revenue, and enable growth.
  • Create structure from ambiguity, thrive in fast-paced settings, and champion continuous improvement.
  • Own Master Production Scheduling (MPS), capacity planning, backlog management, and global fulfillment coordination across a complex, high-mix SKU portfolio.
  • Manage daily and weekly planning activities across multiple production lines.
  • Drive backlog management, order execution, and escalations to protect service levels and revenue timing.
  • Partner cross-functionally to optimize production processes, mitigate disruptions, and execute recovery plans.
  • Evaluate capacity requirements and adjust supply plans to support business growth.
  • Optimize inventory to balance customer service performance and working capital targets.
  • Participate in SIOP/S&OP processes to align demand, supply, and financial objectives.
  • Communicate production schedules, supply risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Analyze ERP and production data to identify trends, constraints, and improvement opportunities.
  • Build advanced data models to support scenario planning and risk mitigation.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights to diverse audiences.
  • Identify automation and digitization opportunities to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
  • Apply lean principles to reduce waste and improve operational performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team in a high-growth environment.
  • Drive accountability, engagement, and strong performance management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning or supply chain operations.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Experience participating in SIOP/S&OP processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP proficiency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity in high-mix production environments.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Experience with Python and/or SQL for data automation and analysis.
  • Experience managing high SKU complexity and dynamic production schedules.
  • Experience with Lean or PPI methodologies.

Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $112,500.00–$150,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
