About the role
Lead a high-impact logistics operation where you will oversee 10–15 direct reports across customer service, account development, carrier management, and transportation operations while driving service excellence, profitability, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains operations standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy.
- Maintains and implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Maintains and monitors operations to maximize sales and profits and provide exceptional customer service.
- Identifies new business opportunities at existing and potential customers.
- Develops and implements ongoing process improvements to enhance productivity and streamline functions.
- Determines staffing requirements, interviews, hires, and trains new employees.
- Demonstrates proficiency at managing, coaching, counseling, and mentoring other technical professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related area.
- Experience in Transportation and/or Supply Chain Management Operations.
- Experience effectively developing, managing, and leading highly motivated, productive teams.
- Available to be on call and to travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to details and accuracy; focus on quality improvement.
- Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize for self and direct reports.
- Excellent decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Computer skills: Keyboarding, MS Office, Internet, Maps, and proven ability to learn proprietary system(s).
- Knowledgeable in managing people and leading teams/virtual teams.

Pay
The final salary offered will generally fall within an annualized market-based salary range of $95,000-$110,000 and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
Schedule
Full-time onsite leadership role.
