Manager, Local Markets Growth
We’re the US Local Markets team—DoorDash’s “local operators.” We identify and execute opportunities to accelerate growth and improve the product across all three sides of the marketplace (customer, merchant, Dasher).
About the role
DoorDash is looking for a Manager to join the Strategy & Operations team and accelerate growth in the Mountain regions. We are hiring out of Arizona, Denver, and Seattle.
You’ll blend analytics and creativity to scope and implement solutions, working both as an individual contributor and as part of a larger team. You move deliberately and with speed, reliably managing multiple workstreams at a low level of detail. This role reports to the General Manager of the US Local Markets team and will manage a Strategy + Operations team based in your market. The position is hybrid, with some time in-office and some time remote.

- Build the team — recruit, lead, and develop high-performing candidates on the US Local Markets team
- Influence — work cross-functionally with Ops, Product, Finance, Analytics, Sales, Marketing, and Dasher & Logistics partners to support strategic projects and unlock growth opportunities
- Operate — figure out how to get from A to B, then actually make it happen
- Experiment — run tests, scale insights, and embrace the challenge of having multiple paths forward with no single “right” answer
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in high-performance cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or related fields)
- Experience leading and motivating a team
- Ability to summarize complex problems and translate high-level goals into actionable plans
- Bias toward action and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Willingness to get hands-on and openness to feedback
- Desire to shape the direction of the market and take on significant responsibility
- Experience in complex or high-growth environments; early-stage startup experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree a plus
- Logistics, Product Management, Business Operations, and/or Partnerships experience a plus
