About The Team
The US Local Markets team is responsible for growing DoorDash’s business at the local level. As the “local operators” at DoorDash, we identify & execute against opportunities to accelerate growth & improve our product across all three sides of the Marketplace (customer, merchant, Dasher).
About The Role
DoorDash is looking for a Manager to join the Strategy & Operations team to accelerate growth in the Southeast & Texas regions. We are hiring out of Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville (Southeast region) as well as Austin or Houston (Texas region). You have experience blending analytics and creativity to scope and implement solutions, working as an individual contributor and as part of a larger team.
Responsibilities
- Own business outcomes — Set and drive towards regional targets for growth and profitability
- Build the team — Recruit, lead, and develop high-performing candidates on the US Local Markets team
- Influence – Work cross-functionally with Ops, Product, Finance, Analytics, Sales, Marketing, & Dasher & Logistics partners to support strategic projects and unlock opportunities to grow region
- Operate – Figure out how to get from A to B–then actually make it happen
- Experiment - Run tests and scale insights. Embrace the challenge of having multiple paths forward and no right answer
Requirements
- You have 6+ years of experience.
- You’ve succeeded in high-performance cultures (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience).
- You have led and motivated a team before
- You have a talent for summarizing complex problems, can translate high-level goals into relevant plans
- You have a bias towards action and can thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- You're willing to get your hands dirty and you're open to feedback
- You crave responsibility and want to shape the direction of the market
- You have experience in a complex or high-growth environment
- Early stage startup experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Masters Degree a plus
- Logistics, Product Management, Business Operations and/or Partnerships experience a plus

Paid Time Off
- Salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- Hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
Pay
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$136,000—$200,000 USD
