About the role

The Chair presides at all meetings of the organization unless otherwise specified, performs general supervision of the affairs of the organization, personally represents the organization on appropriate occasions and in business contacts, and assists all other officers and managing directors with their records, correspondence, and other organizational duties.

The Chair oversees the Staff Relations, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), and Outreach teams, focusing on projects that support the overall success of the organization. Additionally, the Chair supervises the Charity and Nonprofit Grants teams to facilitate fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

• Preside at all organizational meetings unless otherwise specified
• Provide general supervision of the organization’s affairs
• Represent the organization in business contacts and on formal occasions
• Assist other officers and managing directors with records, correspondence, and duties
• Oversee the Staff Relations, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), and Outreach teams
• Lead projects that support the organization’s overall success
• Supervise the Charity and Nonprofit Grants teams to facilitate fundraising efforts
