Manager, Legal Architecture, SMB

About the role

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of six Legal Architects, establishing culture and career paths
• Define and manage the coverage strategy based on deal value and segment needs
• Personally drive strategic accounts and high-impact product launches
• Enhance sales enablement through standardized demos and playbooks
• Translate customer insights into product development and marketing strategy
• Oversee function operations, including forecasting and maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent, with practicing experience
• Proven people leadership excellence in sales, consulting, or legal innovation roles
• Strong customer-facing experience, especially in high-stakes environments
• In-depth knowledge of AI applications in legal workflows and drafting
• Exceptional communication skills with high emotional intelligence (EQ)
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Preference for candidates based in or willing to relocate to major hub cities.

Pay

$104,100 – $156,100 annually
