About the role

RXO is a leading provider of transportation solutions, using cutting-edge technology to revolutionize the industry. This role offers a compensation range of 85K with potential for bonuses or commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of contract carriers, maintain schedules, monitor routes, and foster positive relationships
  • Develop and mentor staff, train on company policies and procedures
  • Carry out managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and resolving issues
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and laws, supervise employees, and allocate resources
  • Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes, manage dispatch, and resolve issues
  • Identify problem areas, restructure routes, and train contract carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations
  • Avoid errors, ensure timely completion of tasks, and take photos for each job
  • Allocate and request additional resources as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or similar field
  • Availability to work various shifts, including holidays, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and travel
  • Mentoring, training, and guiding newer/less-experienced team members
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (read, write, and speak both languages)
  • Strong business acumen and willingness to partner with management teams

  • Experience with route planning software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pay

Schedule
