About the role

RXO is a leading provider of transportation solutions, using cutting-edge technology to revolutionize the industry. This role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $85,000, with potential for bonuses or commissions based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of contract carriers, including maintaining schedules, monitoring routes, and fostering positive relationships
  • Develop and mentor staff to achieve goals; train on company policies and procedures
  • Carry out managerial responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and resolving issues
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees
  • Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day
  • Identify problem areas and improve operational efficiencies through route restructuring
  • Train and develop contract carriers and dispatchers to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all work
  • Allocate and request additional resources as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a similar field (preferred)
  • Availability to work various shifts, including holidays, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and occasional travel
  • Experience mentoring, training, and guiding less-experienced team members
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (read, write, and speak both languages)
  • Strong business acumen and willingness to partner with management teams

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in route planning software
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations

Pay

Compensation for this role is 70-85k. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and skill set.
