This position is a member of the Labor Relations Team within the Corporate Affairs Division. You will maintain working partnerships with operational areas that have organized work groups for the purpose of implementing, maintaining, and administering collective bargaining agreements.

What you’ll do

• Provide prompt and effective support on labor‑related issues to management within multiple corporate departments.
• Manage disputes and negotiate resolutions between union representatives and management.
• Negotiate new work rules for organized employee groups.
• Administer and interpret labor agreements for assigned work groups.
• Support grievance handling up to and including arbitration.
• Develop and maintain responsible relationships with labor organizations representing assigned work groups.
• Travel as required.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience/training.
• Five (5) years of experience in HR, Labor Relations, or operational management of unionized employees.
• Two (2) years in a supervisory/management position.
• Experience or formal training in early dispute‑resolution strategy.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous contract administration and negotiation experience.
• Advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field, or a Human Resources certification.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to quickly respond to change and communicate new directions to client groups.
