Manager Lab Facility

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Biological or Clinical Science (Master’s preferred)
• Experience: 5+ years in clinical laboratory or related field
• Licensure: Florida Laboratory Supervisor License required

Manager Lab Responsibilities

Oversee the staff and contracted employees.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements within the laboratory.

Directly responsible for the operational processes within the laboratory.

Collaborate with technical Directors/Managers and Lab Directors regarding product appropriateness, performance, quality assurance, training, and competency for the respective service line.

Manage relationships with laboratory customers, both inpatients and outpatients, and assist BayCare Central Laboratory Services in establishing entry points into the system.

Process and manage expense and billing information for the appropriate departments.

Implement and maintain relevant databases for this information.

Assist with budget preparation and quality reports.
