Manager, IT Program Management

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, IT Program Management to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will lead IT program management efforts across multiple initiatives, with a focus on aligning resources, timelines, and stakeholder priorities. The manager will oversee program performance, guide project and program managers, and help ensure technology work supports broader organizational objectives. Success in this position will depend on strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage cost, risk, staffing, and execution across a fast-moving environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $121,500 – $224,900 annually Responsibilities Manage and mentor project and program managers throughout project lifecycles Plan resources effectively to meet project demands Monitor program metrics, including costs, risks, and staffing needs Share knowledge to enhance team skills in IT and industry best practices Oversee stakeholder engagement to drive IT objectives Conduct hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff Develop organizational objectives and inspire team performance Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5+ years of related experience preferred Experience in project life cycle management Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred Understanding of budget management and resource planning Benefits Comprehensive health insurance options 401K and stock purchase plans available Tuition reimbursement to support ongoing education Flexible work schedule options including remote and hybrid work Paid time off and holiday leave included Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
