Manager IS Applications - Hybrid
Provide an environment that promotes a high level of customer and employee satisfaction and accurate execution of tasks to support customers both externally and within other areas of the IS Organization. Responsibilities span all Providence Saint Joseph Health and Services facilities and affiliates.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute strategic plans for highly complex issues related to information services operations and support.
- Standardize complex and disparate processes across the organization.
- Lead application management methodologies, including system deployment, support, and life cycle.
- Drive process improvement, change management, and operational improvement in complex systems.
- Interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Manage shifting priorities with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Lead Information Services teams in two or more of the following ERP applications and business processes:
- Procurement (Requisitioning, Purchasing, Contract Management, Service Contracts, Travel & Expenses, Accounts Payable, Payments, P-Card Management, Supplier Portal)
- Inventory Management (Inventory Control Planning & Fulfillment, PAR Management, Receiving & Delivery)
- Warehouse Management (WMS Systems, Demand & Supply Planning, WCS, Inventory Replenishment & Fulfillment)
- Master Data Management (Item Master, Vendor Master)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, Engineering, Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of Information Services leadership experience.
- 8 years of total relevant experience, including:
- Application design and/or implementation of large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle Applications, Infor Lawson).
- Process improvement methodology, change management, and operational improvement in complex systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Information Services, Business Administration, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in the not-for-profit healthcare services sector.
- Experience with large-scale business transformation and ERP system implementation projects spanning multiple regions, geographies, and business process areas.
- Vendor management experience, including contract negotiation and relationship management.
- Proven capability to build productive outcomes using networked teams in dynamic organizational environments.
- Experience developing and managing an operational and project budget for an information services organization.

Salary range by location:
- California:
- Humboldt: $68.62 – $108.34 per hour
- All Northern California (except Humboldt): $76.99 – $121.55 per hour
- All Southern California (except Bakersfield): $68.62 – $108.34 per hour
- Bakersfield: $65.83 – $103.93 per hour
- Texas: $50.21 – $79.29 per hour
- Washington:
- Western: $68.62 – $108.34 per hour
- Southwest (Olympia, Centralia & below): $65.83 – $103.93 per hour
- Eastern: $58.58 – $92.48 per hour
- Southeastern: $61.37 – $96.89 per hour
These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
