Manager Information Security - USFHP

About the role

Oversees day-to-day operations and staff of the Security team. Prioritizes workloads of the group and acts in a supervisory role. Responsible for security policy and procedure development, enterprise security awareness and working to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards such as HIPAA and DIACAP related to information security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and staff of the Security team
• Prioritize workloads of the group and act in a supervisory role
• Develop security policies and procedures
• Promote enterprise security awareness
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards such as HIPAA and DIACAP

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent IT technical and managerial experience
• 3 years of managing technical and/or security staff
• Demonstrated experience developing customer service work processes in the area of technology

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP, CISA, CHP, CHSS, GIAC, MCSE, or MCSA certifications (upon hire)
• Experience in a healthcare IT setting

Pay

Pay range: $74.17 - $117.10 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
